Adventure Sports

Adventure Sports can offer a wide range of activities to fit in with your timeframe, budget and objectives. To give you an insight into how a typical mixed activity event could work we have put together a sample itinerary for a Full day event followed by a list of activities that can be incorporated into the format.

9:30am

Guests arrive at Wedgnock Rifle Range, Warwick. Tea/ coffee is served and an initial briefing will be given to explain the format for the morning and to address general safety issues. The guests will then be divided into fourteen teams of six to seven people. This is the optimum format for good costumer service and individual “go time”. All activities will be doubled up in order to cover the numbers of teams.
10:00am

Instructors take each team out to their first activity. A full briefing will be given and guests will all try the activity. Scores will be kept throughout to provide an element of competition
10:45am First activity ends. Teams circulate around to their second activity.
11:30am Third activity
12:15pm Fourth activity
1:00pm

Guests stop for BBQ Lunch at the guest house (see here for more information)
1:45pm Fifth activity
2:30pm Sixth activity
3:15pm Seventh activity
4:00pm

All activities end. Guests return to Clubhouse where scores are announced and prizes presented.

4x4
Each guest will be given expert tuition on how to drive and control a Camel Trophy Landrover. A challenging course is used that incorporates inclines, descents, water splashes and lots of mud.
Argo Cats
Argo Cats are six wheeled vehicles designed to go almost anywhere. Their small size makes them highly manoeuvrable and fun to drive, whilst their skid steer control system adds a challenge to this unusual activity.

Powerturn Driving
This unusual vehicle is powered by two 195 cc engines. Each engine provides power to one side of the vehicle. The control lever in the drivers left hand controls the left-hand engine and the right hand lever controls the right hand engine. A pair of wheels sits at the front and back of the vehicle for stability. The vehicle is capable of incredible turns, dramatic wheelies and impressive acceleration.
Quad Bikes
Drive these 250 cc four wheeled motorbikes around a challenging obstacle course incorporating limbo bars and tight corners. The competitors are scored depending on their driving ability and skill.

Reverse Steer Snooker
This converted Jeep provides one of the funniest activities you’ll ever experience. The objective is to drive the car through a series of snooker ball coloured gates accumulating the highest break possible along the way. The problem is when the car is steered left it will go right and throw a couple of blindfolds in – the result is hilarious!
Archery
An experienced archery instructor will take the guests through a series of practice sessions and scored competition rounds using Recurve Longbows.

Clay Pigeon Shooting
A CPSA qualified instructor will take the team through the basics of shooting Clay Pigeons. Each individual will use a 12gauge shotgun to shoot at a variety of clay.
Empire Crate Building
The team is equipped with 50 milk crates with which they must form the tallest tower possible. The tower must hold the weight of one team member at its summit
Big Boys Toys
For the more adventurous each team is given a specific task with one of the big boys toys. These include a JCB, a 40ft lorry, a forklift truck, a military APC, 360 degree digger, a tractor and a dumpster truck.
4x4 Off Road Safari
Probably the finest 4x4 driving experience available. The 4x4 Safari is a true off road driving challenge for a team.
Treasure Hunts
Treasure Hunts offer a huge variety of challenges at an endless choice of venues. From on-foot “off the shelf” options in popular tourist towns to overnight packages in haunted houses, we can custom write a specific event for your group.
Teambuilding
Adventure Sports also have a host of teambuilding activities from a backwards bungee to school sports day activities. Whatever your team needs to give it that kick you're sure to find it at Adventure Sports.
